In 20+ years of playing, Markus Reuter developed a systematic approach to playing the Touch Guitar. That approach is now called “The Family” by the members of the Touch Guitar Circle. It consists of a set of interrelated exercises that facilitate ergonomic, relaxed playing while covering all aspects of playing the fretboard.
“The Family” is constantly being discussed, revised and developed in the Touch Guitar Circle, a group of dedicated players working together in seminars and at a distance. Here are some videos to give you an idea of what the Touch Guitar Circle is all about. Many more videos are on our Facebook page.
Seminars and personal meetings are the best way to get acquainted with the technique as they allow for one-on-one instruction from the beginning. If a meeting in person is not at all possible, lessons may be held at a distance via video chat even from the beginning.
